3M Tegaderm Alginate Ag Silver Dressings are non-woven, sterile dressings composed of a high G (guluronic acid) calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), and an ionic silver complex (silver sodium hydrogen zirconium phosphate). Tegaderm Ag Silver Alginate Dressings are highly absorbent and form a gel as exudate is absorbed. These dressings also release silver ions when in the presence of wound exudate. The silver alginate dressings has silver ions that protect from a broad spectrum of microoganisms for up to 14 days. The antimicrobial effect of these dressings also help reduce odor. 3M Tegaderm Alginate Ag dressings can be used under compression bandages. It can be folded or cut to size. Available in 4 sizes.
