Transparent film dressings allow for precise placement and constant monitoring of the wound while providing a waterproof, viral, and bacteria barrier. Tegaderm film dressings are breathable which allows the skin to function normally. One style is the Tegaderm HP which has greater adhesive holding power and also comes in a sacral shape.
