Smith & Nephew Allevyn Gentle Border Dressing is a foam wound dressing that has a gentle, skin friendly (for those with fragile skin) adhesive border that keeps the dressing in place. Allevyn Gentle Border has a 3 layered construction consisting of a perforated silicone gel wound contact layer, absorbent hydrocellular foam pad, and an outer waterproof film layer. This dressing is also available in Allevyn Gentle Border Heel, Allevyn Gentle Border Sacrum, and Allevyn Border Multisite (designed to fit awkward areas of the body).
