The Prevalon Boot is designed with an open, floated-heel design which means the heel is completely floated. This provides continuous pressure relief. Prevalon boots have proven prevention and treatment of heel pressure ulcers and contractures. By "floating" the heel, it prevents plantar flexion contracture and lateral rotation. The Prevalon heel protector has adjustable stretch panels and quick-stick fastening. Prevalon pressure-relieving heel protector features pillow-style cushioning and is made with ultra-soft, open-weave fabric. It has Intermittent Compression Device (ICD) access ports. Latex free.
