XTRASORB Classic Super Absorbent Dressings are ideal for heavily and extra-heavily exuding wounds. XTRASORB Classic is constructed with 4 layers: 1) Non-Adherent wound contact layer, which prevents adhesion to the wound; 2) Distribution layer, which absorbs exudate and evenly distributes it into the absorent core: 3) Absorbent core, which is constructed with super-absorent polymer fibers that absorb a large quantity of wound exudate by forming into a gel that binds with and locks away the exudate; and 4) Blue strike-through protective outer layer, which protects clothing and bedding against soiling. Each dressing can be left in place for up to seven (7) days. Ideal for leg ulcers where compression bandages are needed.
