Molnlycke Melgisorb Plus is a calcium alginate dressing that can absorb, up to 18 times its weight, in wound exudate. The fibers of the dressing form a soft moist gel while absorbing, which provides a moist wound healing environment. The Melgisorb alginate dressing reduces the risk of maceration and the soft gel does not adhere to the wound, which also reduces trauma and pain during wear and while changing the dressing. This alginate dressing is ideal for pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, donor sites, post-op wounds, and dermal lesions. Can be worn up to 3 days. Choose from 3 sizes: 2" x 2" (# 252000), 4" x 4" (#252200), 4" x 8" (#252500), and 1.25" x 17.7" Rope (# 253500). Each are a box of 10 dressings.
